At holland were 4 collared doves, 2 woodpigeon, a chiffchaff and a garden warbler. A nice male crossbill was by Purtabreck, a grey heron was off Tor Ness and 3 pintail were on Gretchen Loch.
"The 1st of October was just as incredible - a large fall with 400 Robins, 38 Redstarts, 230 Song Thrushes, 500 Redwings, 49 Blackcaps, 4 Yellow-browed Warblers, 40 Chiffchaffs, 376 Goldcrests, 46 Chaffinches, 470 Bramblings, and 88 Siskins - and a female Siberian Thrush caught coming into roost with other migrants. There were further falls on 3rd and 4th and scarce migrants that week included Long-tailed Skua, several Richard's Pipits, and Yellow Wagtails, Reed and Barred Warblers, 2 Red-breasted Flycatchers, a Great Grey Shrike, a Rosy Starling, an Ortolan Bunting and 4 Little Buntings."
