A quiet day was livened up with a smart male Red-necked Phalarope which showed well on Ancum Loch but elsewhere there was little change with the female Crossbill and Pied Flycatcher still present.

The Red-necked Phalarope stayed just out of our small cameras range, so here's a picture of some of the Eider chicks that are out and about at the moment
