4th May
Two Little Tern were at the Links, a Common Sandpiper was at Brides, a Lesser Whitethroat was in Ancum Willow, a Greenfinch and Tree Sparrow were at Holland, and three Dotterel were seen again at Sandar.
5th May
The elusive Wood Warbler in Cursitter made a reappearance alongside a male Blackcap, the Common Sandpiper remained at Brides, as did the Dotterel at Sandar.
6th May
A Jackdaw and Carrion Crow flew south over the Post Office, the Wood Warbler was seen once again at Cursitter, and Redpolls were at Holland, Holm, and Nether Linnay. The Dotterel remained at Sandar and a Tree Sparrow was again seen on the Holland Farmhouse feeders.
7th May
Redpoll were once again at Nether Linnay, the Tree Sparrow was still at Holland, and the Dotterel were still at Sandar. Highlight of the day was a Short-eared Owl seen over the Shooting Gallery.
8th May
The highlight of the day was a White-tailed Eagle that gave fantastic views as it flew south over the Links, stopping briefly on the gold course. Elsewhere a Collared Dove was at Purtabreck, a Greenfinch was at Ancum, a Kestrel and Redpoll were at Senness, two Jackdaw were at Upper Linnay and the three Dotterel were still at Sandar.
9th May
A wintery feel to the day with two Snow Bunting around the north end alongside a Woodpigeon. The Wood Warbler made a brief reappearance at Cursitter, a Redpoll was at Antabreck, and the Dotterel remained in situ.
10th May
Two Goldfinch were at the Surgery and 21 Pink-footed Goose were at Peckhole. Additions the year list came in the form of a Little Stint at Sandsheen an a Tree Pipit at North Gravity. Three Dotterel were still at Sandar.
11th May
Manx Shearwater was a year tick when two flew past the Beacon. A second-calendar-year Little Gull was at Viggay. The Dotterel remained.
12th May
A Short-eared Owl was seen over Hooking.
13th May
The first Common Tern of the year was at Gretchen, 16 Pink-footed Goose were at Nether Linnay, two Little Tern were at Howar and another two were at the Links.
