A decent day with plenty of bright sunshine and a light westerly breeze; birds winkled out of this slow feeling day included the Whooper Swan still, a drake Garganey, 2 Whimbrel, a Collared Dove, a Dunnock at Holland House (not only very late but also a British control), a female Redstart at the airfield, the first Reed Warbler of the year at Ancum Willows, a Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Blackcaps and 3 Chiffchaff.
