The westerly winds had eased overnight leaving just a moderate breeze through the day and very few showers – much better!   Not much had sneaked through onto the island as totals comprised 3 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Barnacle Geese, 7 Shelduck, 4 Goldeneye, 2 Hen Harriers, a Merlin, 230 Golden Plover, a Black-tailed Godwit on Ancum, 24 Bar-tailed Godwit, 95 Redshank, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, a Woodpigeon, 132 Skylark, 65 Meadow Pipits, 20 Rock Pipits, 16 Pied Wagtails, a Robin, a Chaffinch, 9 Snow Buntings and 5 Reed Buntings.
