A bit breezier through the day than of late with ever dwindling numbers of migrants left over from the arrivals in the last week; totals across the land did include 2 Hen Harriers, 2 Merlin, 2 Kestrels, a Redstart lingering at the Lighthouse, 5 Wheatears, 37 Song Thrush, 222 Redwing, 3 Blackcap, a Chiffchaff, a Willow Warbler, 3 Goldcrest, 50 Chaffinches, 107 Brambling and 34 Snow Buntings.

                Other birds of note comprised 11 Red-throated Divers, a Slavonian Grebe at Westness, 3 Herons, 4 Whooper Swans, a Jack Snipe, 3 Black-tailed Godwits and an Arctic Skua and 2 Bonxies offshore.
