Once again the thick thick fog blanketed the island with no breaks all day, kept in place by the virtually non-existent easterly breeze; it was tough in the field with visibility down to a few metres at times but birds of note did include 2 Herons, 285 Golden Plover, 10 Knot, 4 Ruff, a Green Sandpiper on Ancum, a Common Sandpiper at The Lurn and the Garden Warbler still around the Obs.

The last few Tysties are still being fed (photo taken in sunnier times!)
