Largely dry but a blazing, gale force southerly wind was pretty restricting and observations were limited but birds seen did include 4 Whooper Swans, 11 Long-tailed Ducks, 17 Red-breasted Mergansers, single Grey Plover, Knot, Jack Snipe and Black-tailed Godwit, a late Arctic Skua chasing Common Gulls off The Links, 145 Redwing, 3 Siskins, a Common Redpoll and 3 Snow Buntings.
