Wondrously and blessedly calm through the morning but the nets at Holland first thing were quiet; there was a dribble of migrants which filtered in through the day which included a Sparrowhawk at Holland, a Bonxie at the top end, 2 Sandwich Terns, 2 Robins, 2 Wheatears, 6 Redwings, a Chiffchaff, a Goldcrest, 3 Jackdaws, a Rook, a Greenfinch and a further increase to 50+ Linnets.    Lingering birds comprised 3 Pink-footed Geese, the drake Green-winged Teal still (he’s already stayed a week longer than last year) and a single Snow Bunting.
