12th August

The totals of three hours seawatching are 10 manx shearwater, 12 storm petrel, 630 fulmar, 1247 puffin and 80 gannet. Still quiet on the passerine front, and the only notable waders were a ruff on Gretchen Loch and 13 knot on Trolla Vatn. A peregrine flew through the island and a short-eared owl was feeding over Breck in the evening.
